The board Dana uses to pick up other agents' work, redrawn six ways on the same brand tokens. All of them answer the question the current page leaves to her head: not "what is out there" but "which of these can I actually take, and is it worth the drive". The first three give the page a list, a map, or both. The three added on 19 September each pick a different axis: time, money, or the decision itself.
The September 4 rebuild fixed the big things. The list scrolls beside a map that stays put, the two point at each other, pay and date line up down the right edge, and Apply is an outline button so the page has one amber action. That should all stay.
The strain is that the page still treats every job as equally takeable. Dana has a calendar, and the board does not know it. A $45 lockbox open on Saturday at 2:00 pm sits inside her own open house, and the card looks identical to the $85 showing that fits neatly after her Friday morning stop. She has to open each one, remember her week, and do the arithmetic. The filter row is the other cost: ten service chips and a location control take the first 110 pixels of every visit, and on a five-mile radius they narrow five jobs to four.
Direction A rebuilds the page around her week. Direction B rebuilds it around the map. Direction C, added after Michael asked for it, puts A's list beside B's map. They share the top bar, the sidebar, the card rule that pay and time sit right, and the one-amber rule.
Michael asked for three more on 19 September, and for them to go further. D, The Route, makes time the axis: one day on a clock strip, her stops as fixed blocks, open jobs slotted into the gaps, and a route that adds up as she taps. E, The Ledger, makes money the axis: three picks up top and every job as a row in a sortable table. F, The Briefing, makes the decision the axis: the page opens with a proposed week worked out from her calendar and one button that applies to all of it. All three keep A's fit check, because that is the part that changes what she decides.
A further section shows A and B with nothing in range, the state a new agent in a quiet ZIP meets first.

Eleven jobs are open within 10 miles. Seven fit around your stops, and these four chain into your calendar with the least driving: $575 for the week, 8 h 15 min of work, about 34 miles. The three you'd be leaving are under it, and swapping one in recalculates.
| Question | Current | A · Fit | B · Market | C · Fit on the map |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The question the page answers | What is open near this ZIP | Which of these can I take this week, and what would the week pay | Where is the work and what does each one pay | Which fit, where they are, and what the week pays |
| First thing the eye lands on | Two rows of service chips | "11 open, 6 fit around your stops" | A map with prices on the pins and a dense list | "6 fit around your stops" beside a map of priced pins |
| Jobs visible without scrolling at 1440 | 4 and a half | 8 rows plus 2 of her own stops | 11 in the list, 11 on the map | 9 rows with 2 of her stops, 11 on the map |
| Knows her calendar | No | Yes, her stops are rows and each job says fits or clashes | Partly, her stops are pins with no price | Yes, rows say fits or clashes and the pins carry the same state |
| Pay per hour | No | Under the pay on every row | Under the pay on every row | Under the pay on every row |
| Where the poster and notes appear | On every card, then again in a dialog | In the dialog, as today | Inline when a row opens, no dialog | In the dialog, as today; the phone sheet shows the poster |
| Filters | Location control and ten chips on two rows | Four pills on one line, type behind a menu, plus "Fits my week" | Pills floating on the map, type behind a menu | One line above the list; the map keeps only week, Hide clashes and the count |
| Map | Five twelfths of the width, identical dots | A 190px minimap in the rail; full map behind the pin click | The page, with price on every pin and her stops as chips | Full height beside the list, price and day on every pin, dashed pins for clashes, a dotted route through the fits |
| Phone | List or map behind a toggle | Days with fit notes; the map is a sheet from a header icon | The map with a bottom sheet of rows | The map with a sheet headed by the day; a List pill swaps to A's days |
| Vendor account | Same page, trade switch in the heading row | Same page; their trade replaces the type menu, service radius as today; "fits" uses their booked jobs | Same page; price pins read "Quote" for quote-only work | Same page; trade replaces the type menu, pins read "Quote" where there is no price |
| Data needed that the page does not have today | — | Her booked jobs for the week (already loaded on the dashboard) and straight-line miles between stops (already computed there) | Nothing new; price labels are a Mapbox marker change | Same as A: her booked jobs and straight-line miles, both already on the dashboard |
| Build cost | — | FindOpportunities.tsx re-composed by day, one fit function, the filter row rebuilt as menus, the rail. Medium. | Full-height split layout, inline expand on OpportunityCard, priced markers on OpportunityMap, floating pills, a bottom sheet on the phone. Medium, more of it on the map. | A's list and fit function, B's priced markers and full-height map column, a stats strip. The list grid already exists at 7fr/5fr. Medium, the most of the three. |
| Biggest risk | — | A fit note that is wrong reads as a promise. Straight-line miles are not drive time, so the wording has to stay "6 min" only when it is honest, otherwise "2 mi". | Under 1024px the map wins and the list becomes a sheet, which hides the jobs on the first screen, the thing the September 4 rebuild fixed. | Pins with "$85 · Fri" labels crowd at 10 mi in a town cluster; needs collision handling or a zoom that collapses labels to price only. |
| Question | C · Fit on the map | D · Route | E · Ledger | F · Briefing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The axis | Place and day | Time: one day on a clock strip | Money: a sortable table | The decision: a proposed week |
| The question the page answers | Which fit, where they are, what the week pays | What does my Friday look like if I take these | Which of these pays best for the hour and the drive | What should I take this week |
| First thing the eye lands on | "6 fit around your stops" beside priced pins | Her 9:00 showing as a block with four open jobs under it | An ink card: best per hour, $138/h | "Take these four and Friday pays $285" |
| Jobs visible without scrolling at 1440 | 9 rows with 2 of her stops, 11 on the map | One day: 5 open jobs on the strip, 3 on the route, 3 under | 10 rows, every column | 4 in the plan, 1 near miss, 3 cards, 5 of the list |
| Knows her calendar | Yes, fits and clashes on rows and pins | Yes, it is the strip; clashes sit inside her blocks | Yes, as a column; clashes dim or hide | Yes, the plan is built from it |
| Where the week's total lives | A stats strip above the list | Under the route, per day, with the fee taken off | The table footer, over the fits | The right pane of the plan, with hours, miles, per hour |
| Applying | Outline Apply on each row | Outline Apply on each route stop; "Apply to 2" on the phone | Outline Apply on each row; Apply anyway as a ghost on a clash | One amber "Apply to all four", or one at a time |
| Amber | Get coverage only | Get coverage, and "Apply to N" on the phone when a route exists | Get coverage only | Get coverage and Apply to all; the page has its own action |
| Map | Full height, priced pins, dashed clashes, dotted route | A strip map of the day's route, the full map behind a tap | None on the page; a link to C's map | None on the page; a link to C's map or E's table |
| Phone | Map with a sheet headed by the day | Day chips, the strip with prices on blocks, the route as rows | A sort switch, the picks as a swipe row, two-line rows | The plan above the fold with the button, then the list |
| Vendor account | Trade replaces the type menu; pins read Quote | Same strip; their booked jobs are the tinted blocks | The best fit: forty rows across three counties want a table | Same plan, built from their booked jobs and service radius |
| Data the page does not have today | Her booked jobs and straight-line miles, both on the dashboard | Same as C, plus drive minutes between stops if the "6 min" is to be honest; miles otherwise | Same as C; the per-hour figure is pay over duration | Same as D, plus the chain picker: best-paying set of fits with no clash, run over the week |
| Build cost | Medium, the most of the first three | New: the clock strip and block layout, the route panel, a strip map. Medium to high; the strip is the work. | Low to medium: a table on the existing rows, a sort, three derived picks, the footer sum. The cheapest of the six. | C's fit function plus a week-long chain picker, the plan panel, a batch apply that sends N applications. Medium; the picker is the work. |
| Biggest risk | Pin labels crowd at 10 mi | A day with nothing booked is an empty strip with jobs floating on it; needs a "free all day" state that still reads as a plan | It looks like work. A new agent with two jobs nearby gets a spreadsheet for two rows; the picks carry it below five rows, the table should collapse to cards under that | A wrong plan reads as advice. The reasons on each row and the "rules, not a model" line keep it honest, and the near-miss row shows its working |
It is the only direction that changes what Dana decides, not just how the same list looks. Her calendar is already on the dashboard, so the fit check costs one function, and the page keeps the list-first phone that the last rebuild fought for. It also pairs with the Agenda: the dashboard shows her week, this page shows what would fit in it.
Price on the pins and the dense row are worth taking whichever way this goes. The full-height map earns its place for a vendor working a 25-mile radius across three counties, less so for an agent whose jobs sit within five miles of home. Keep it as the map behind the minimap in A, with the priced pins.
Michael liked B's map, and A is the half that changes what she decides, so C is both without a second set of filters. The map earns the full column once its pins carry price, day and the clash state. It stays the recommendation for the board itself; the three below are what goes on top of it or beside it.
The clock strip is the only one of the six where a clash needs no words: the block sits inside her block. It is also the most work and the weakest on an empty day. Worth building as the day view that opens when she taps a day in C, rather than as the page.
A table on the rows the page already has, with three picks over it and a sum under it. For a vendor running forty rows a week across three counties this beats every map. Ship it as the "as a table" view behind one link, and default vendors with a radius over 15 miles to it.
It is the only direction that finishes the thought the dashboard's Summary tag started this morning: the app tells her what is happening, and here it tells her what to do about it. The plan panel sits above C's list and map, the chain picker is A's fit function run over the week, and Apply to all is four ordinary applications. The near-miss row and the reasons on each line keep it honest. Highest upside of the six for a medium build.
Pay per hour under every price. Filters on one line, service types behind a menu. The poster line off the row and on the open job. Her own stops visible on the same surface as the open jobs. One amber action, still Get coverage.
